- New Year, New Adventures:
Let’s kick off 2024 with a blast! Our young journalists will explore new topics, interview interesting people, and share their discoveries with all of you. Get ready for a year filled with curiosity and creativity.
- Story of the month:
Our featured story for January is a heartwarming tale of friendship and courage. Gather around for our virtual reading sessions as we bring this story to life. Don’t forget to share your thoughts and drawings inspired by the narrative.
- Fun with Words – Monthly Writing Challenge:
Calling all wordsmiths! This month, we challenge our members to create a short story using the words: resolution, imagination, and laughter. Participate in our Creative Writing Contest for a chance to showcase your imaginative tales. Winners will be recognized and have their stories published in a special edition of our newsletter.
- Exclusive Interview with an amazing teacher:
Our club is thrilled to have the opportunity to interview a teacher who has made a positive impact in our community. Stay tuned for insights into their inspiring journey and the lessons they’ve learned along the way.
- Member Spotlight:
Every month, we shine the spotlight on some of our outstanding Kiddie Press Club members. If you have a special talent, accomplishment, or story to share, let us know! We love celebrating the achievements of our fantastic young journalists.
- Parent’s Corner:
For our supportive parents, we’re introducing a new section – Parent’s Corner! Find tips on fostering a love for reading and writing at home, recommended children’s books, and fun family activities to spark creativity.
- Monthly Journalism Workshop:
Throughout the year, we’re hosting exclusive journalism workshops designed to enhance your storytelling skills. From mastering interviews to crafting compelling headlines, these sessions will empower our members to become stellar reporters.
- Guest Speaker Series:
Prepare to be inspired! Our Guest Speaker Series will feature accomplished individuals from various fields, sharing their experiences and insights with our young journalists. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn from the best and dream big!
- Club Collaboration and Projects:
